We start with a load calculation to confirm your panel can support the Wall Connector at your desired amperage. Then we run a dedicated circuit, mount the unit at the ideal height and location for your vehicle's charge port, connect it to WiFi, and pull the required City of San Jose permit and inspection. Choosing Your Amperage
The Wall Connector can be configured anywhere from 15 to 48 amps depending on your panel's available capacity and the circuit breaker protecting it. A higher amperage means faster charging, but it also requires more available capacity on your panel — we'll walk you through the tradeoffs and recommend the setting that makes sense for your home and your typical driving distance.
